1. A six to eight foot skirted banquet table must be supplied by the caterer. It must be placed within 25 feet of the electrical outlets.
2. Larger sound systems require a minimum of TWO separate curcuits. A light show requires a minimum of THREE additional circuits of power. Therefore a minimum of FIVE separate circuits are required with lights. Deluxe light shows require the use of a fog machine. Special permission from your banquet manager is needed to use fog. Furthermore, a three hour set up is needed for a deluxe light show and sound.
3. A 13'x15' playing area is required for the extended sound systems including dance platforms. The compact systems require a 8'x16' playing area. We recommend placing the sound systems adjacent to the dance floor allowing for an enhanced performance and participation with your guests. We will not set up on a stage or risers. There should be no tables of guests between the disc jockey booth and the dance floor.
4. All formal pictures by a professional photographer should be taken before the reception so that the guest(s) of honor are not removed for a long period of time during the highlights of the party.
5. Considering the travel time, set up time, break down time and playing time, it is recommended that our performers are served dinner or a light meal being that it is at least an eight hour work day. We suggest that the performers are served in either the same room as the guests or close enough so that they can hear the dinner music being played.
6. Any music requests and information sheets should be submitted to JW Productions at least two weeks prior to the affair. BACK
